Saturday is SCG Pitt and I have been working on some new things to display/sell!
One of the ideas I have always had in the back of my mind for card alters was to create them to appear as a stained glass window. After a few botched attempts during my first months of altering, I promptly threw the idea on the back burner until I was able to manipulate the medium the way I needed. Over a year later I am finally at a point where I can get the cards so flat you can't see the paint, perfect conditions to paint rigid black lines without them becoming fuzzy or rough. Here is my first creation in my new "Glassed" series as well as a few more binder cards for SCG Pitt :

Busy Busy Busy
Owning my own MTG retail shop has been way more work than I had anticipated. Been doing commissions but not really working on a lot of others. Here is an alter I recently completed. I'm up in the air about it but its a good starting off point. I have yet to see one of these at least.
I will be painting both days at SCG Pitt at the end of the month. It was a great time last time, and i'm sure it will be this time as well!
